It does not go all the way around the bottom of the rear bumper. So, this is what I was talking about when I mentioned that the S4 does not have black valences. To be more correct...the majority of the valence is body colored...and a very small portion on the back, and on the front, is black. The sides are almost totally body colored. BTW, I REALLY like the look.

The S4 at the NY autoshow was all locked up and probably a euro version. The S4 I saw here in California...not with the AoA staff here...was a true North American version.

You are correct. That is the rear bumper of an Euro S4.

The US VIN S4s I saw in the final inspection station at the Ingolstadt plant (last month), had the "normal" A4 bumpers with the painted lower valence.

The sides of the Euro S4s ARE totally body colored.
