... painless experience, its my day off, so I left the car, went out shopping with my family, they called a couple hours later and it was done.

Went to pick it up and yessir, the fog light mod (jumper between the fuses) is no longer needed.

I also requested that they pop my radio loose so I can install my icelink, which they did for free... nice of them.

Even more surprising, they washed my car for me :) That was VERY nice of them, because it was FILTHY! (My hose has been frozen solid for a month, as have many of the car washes with the cold snap we've had).

I normally do all of my own work, but if I ever needed dealer service, I'm more apt to go to them based on how they treated me today. Overturf VW / Audi in Kennewick, WA.

After graduating from college in '75, I decided it was time to replace my British-made Austin America. So I selected a '76 VW Dasher Hatchback, which hooked me on German cars. I had to go back twice to fix a coolant leak, which led to the third visit to replace the water pump housing that they damaged in the previous visit, and finally, they didn't tighten the valve cover bolts after adjusting the valve lifters that led to an oil leak. After that final service error, I never went back. Maybe Doug Overturf left since then and now they have owner(s) that really care about their customers. Nice to know.
