Please no flames on my choice of forums...
I have noticed about a 10% decrease in gas mileage from the summer.
The only thing that I can think of is the more aggressive tread of my Hak 1 snows (they are the same size - 205/55-16 - as my stock 8000e's). Anyone else notice such a decrease?
Chris

My mileage went down by about 5% on the snows (P210As).
--Greg
...I can really feel the power being robbed, and the sound they make reminds me of a jacked up 4X4 with mudders!
Charles
I doubt very much that your winter tires are responsible for the 10% reduction in gas mileage. Other factors which are much more important: Gas formulation changes in winter reducing mpg; longer warmpup to reach efficient combustion; driving in snow and slush GREATLY reduce mileage; iidling car to warm it up (not a good idea for lots of reasons).
