I have a '98.5 A4 T1.8Q with the Concert stereo head unit w/ 6-CD changer. I was wondering what the proper way to turn on/turn off the unit should be. The owners manual states that one can leave the power button in the "on" position at all times, and the unit can then be turned on when starting the car, and then turned off when shutting the car off. This is the way I currently operate the unit. Does anyone think I am doing any damage to the unit? Please advise. Thanks.
