What will we do if one of these HID lamps gets cracked by a rock or something? If LLtek is only getting a limited supply, will that mean there will be no way to replace these if they happen to get cracked?

LLtek is getting one shipment only, doesn't mean that other importers won't be able to get them.. And there is always the dealer.. Once the S4 becomes availble then the xenon units will definitely be availble from the dealer.. But dealer prices will probably be doubled...<p>Dmak 1.8TQMS

LLtek told me that these would be some of the final ones produced by Hella in this style. I'm not sure that other importers will get them because I'm not sure Hella will keep making them. This kind anyay. <p>

What is the 99.5" lenses? I couldn't tell any difference in the lenses.

If the S4 has jsut stareted production, why the stop, is a different comany taking over their production? Also, does anyone know if this is a plug and paly system or is their a large number of electrical modifications needed. Now that I think about it, they cant discontinue them as buyers in europe would need replacements if they have problems. it might be worth it to see how much I could pick up a set in Germany if no adaptation is needed.<br>Chris

It's more than just a lense issue; the fog lamps were moved to below the bumper... I'd love the xenon lamps; heck, I was really upset I didn't get an A6 for a while. But the replacement issue, the fact that dealers can't necessarily get replacements if needed (due to 99.5 S4), and the price ($1300 spent elsewhere) has convinced me to be gun-shy...<p>Really wish I did have them, though.<p>-josh
