View Full Version : UPS man was good to me today. Now comes 2.7Twin 03-25-2004, 08:35 AM

the dreaded wait for the rims! ;-) Michaelangelo 2.7T 03-25-2004, 08:43 AM and they're Toyo's, right? 2.7Twin 03-25-2004, 08:44 AM RobertV 03-25-2004, 08:52 AM 2.7Twin 03-25-2004, 08:54 AM April 03-25-2004, 08:54 AM 2.7Twin 03-25-2004, 08:57 AM slimmn 03-25-2004, 09:04 AM April 03-25-2004, 09:06 AM several months of him perusing every single wheel on the planet, and he asking my opinion on each one. Then it took 3 months as the wheels were made and drilled in Japan. In the end though, the car rode and handled fantastic. I'd gotten him hooked on the light weight wheel thing, and those 11lb wheels made an incredible difference - more than I had expected. So hang in there. Post pictures of those SSRs on other Audis. We can handle it ;-) 2.7Twin 03-25-2004, 09:31 AM 2.7Twin 03-25-2004, 09:36 AM Ming 2.7T 03-25-2004, 09:37 AM DWP 03-25-2004, 09:39 AM 2.7Twin 03-25-2004, 09:47 AM only Manager that weekend and they're not real keen on us trading. 2.7Twin 03-25-2004, 09:50 AM doubtful. Damn job mess up more of my fun. Good thing I love it! ;-) eyates 03-25-2004, 09:57 AM I just pulled a set of them off my car in 235/45/17. I loved them. Handled fantastic, great water traction and smooth ride. I only got 24k on them. More than most people I think but I do mostly highway miles and dont track the car. I had never rotated them and the fronts wore bad due to an alignment (toe angle) problem. I would have gotten much more on them otherwise as the rears are just under half tread and are in great shape. I may try and sell those two tires on ebay to see what I can get for them. I put a different brand on this time, but I'm regretting it a little. I wanted a little better tread life (I do 30k+ miles a year), but there's always a tradeoff. John/Jmess5 03-25-2004, 10:50 AM I'm interested. 2.7Twin 03-25-2004, 11:31 AM Capt William 03-25-2004, 09:03 PM Took them off to put on 18" BBS RK2. Two of them have S03 Pole Positions with some miles left, the other two are just rims. Some minor curb rash but no damage to the rims. John/Jmess5 03-26-2004, 04:51 AM Sure, if the price is right.
