That is where I go to get to the FAQs!
Really, I do like all the great articles that these guys provide for us!

The 993 wheels you guys saw are for sale by 1552 Design (www.germancardesign.com) and you can get a set of 4 18" 993 technology wheels for $1799 and the adaptors you need are $399 for the set.
I love those wheels too, except for the porsche center caps. I'd definately get rid of those. It seems kind of pricey for those wheels, with the adaptors and all. Maybe I'll consider them. We'll see.

Sorry, I don't remember the price but I do recall they were heavy, especially when you ad the spacers. Autobahn also has the Porsche "cup" wheels that don't require the spacers. I remember they were reasonably priced.
and you don't think putting porche wheels on an audi is r!cey? trust me, i hate r!ceboys too but you sound like a hypocrate.

How is it you can not like the tailfin on that silver Civic in your Riceboy page, but you praise so highly that nasty thing on the Ruf?
Just had to ask. ;-)
That Civic actually isn't too bad. I mean sure, the tail fin is ridiculous and that nose spoiler is a bit overboard (though still nothing compared to some I've seen). But the wheels and drop job are done pretty well..... much better than some of the ones I've seen on A4.org!
Nice site, you've done a good job. =-)

Perhaps it would be ricey, but only if you leave the Porsche center cap on it. Then I would say it'd be kind of ricey. However, if I were ever to get those wheels (i can dream, cant i?), i would definetly take off the Porsche emblems, and try to find some Audi caps. I agree, that would be like putting a VTEC sticker on a Toyota or something...

Haha, good point, I never thought of it that way, but I'd probably guess that the Ruf is a bit faster than the Civic, and I'm sure aerodynamics come into play somewhere above 150 mph. i wouldnt want any rear end lift at 200 mph, would you? :-) I'm also sure most Civic's cant get that high...Good point, though, and well taken. I never thought about that. Its just my thing for Porsches. :-)

I have my book mark for www.a4.org/forum, but not www.a4.org. I guess that's why Jason and Matt post it here whenever there's a new feature. :-)

i don't know about you. but if i bought a set of 18 x 8.5 Porsche technology hollow spokes i'd leave teh porshe center caps. its not ricey, it just shows that you have an authentic 750 dollar porshe wheel
