I seem to remeber this topic coming up at one point but can't find in the archive. Anyone else have this prob? Is this a pretty quick fix? What is causing the leak?

Mine was leaking at the second reservoir (closer to the engine), from the pump that feeds the h/l washers. There's a sleeve that holds the pump on the corner of the reservoir and it was cracked, causing the fluid to leak out as fast as it was put in. Also, the level in the second rez was too low and the h/l washers would not activate; not to mention my low fluid warning kept going off. i mentioned it to the dealer at next service and it was replaced.

My leak was caused by the mechanic who forgot to move the clip in the lock position on the hose leading to the headlight washers

This is the only real problem that I have had with my 97 2.8QM so far... within about a month of new, it would leak heavily anytime I used the headlight washers. Dealer replaced no problem.
