Just returned from my 25K check, saw the new A4 head lamp assembly, looks cool, does it work better? Will it fit a 98.5 1.8T?

Yes, I have been told that it will fit with minor modifications of a brace inside the fender. It is supposed to be much closer to E code lighting than what is on your car. They don't have built in fogs, so you will need to either get the bumper mounted fog assy or find your own solution for that. Clair Audi qouted me $202 each for headlights only. (Not fogs).

I just installed the Bosch Euro-spec H7/H1/H7. They're excellent, especially with some sort of 'superwhite' bulbs. They were really 'plug-and-play.' It took a few minutes to put them in, and only a little bit of trial-and-error work to aim them. E-mail me if you'd like more info.
