<br>on a Quattro, you should be able to just beat out a stock M3 with a properly set-up K04, on a front driver you wont. After 60 mph the M3 is quicker, less weight, it actually is pretty quick 1st and 2nd as well, and better gearing for acceleration. So you may not be much quicker, but most people, at least around my way, have M3 automatics and cant drive anyway, so you should beat them light to light no problem. The fastest "stock" M3 i seen run the 1/4 mile was 14.25, and they usually average 14.5, with the 3.2L averaging 14.3. I think a 240hp A4 should run about 14.4 so you are right there.

a FWD A4 with K04, intercooler, exhaust, air filter, 14PSI chip with good, grippy tires and other misc things such as new thermostat, etc.?<p>Do you think it will beat the M3?
