Sorry, i know this doesn't contain any Audi content really, but I the M5 just got delivered today off the truck, and I had to relay my experiences. FYI, it's a 1993 M5, white / silver, 99K miles, all stock except for tinted windows. The car also got a new clutch about 4K miles ago.

I've driven M5's before, but never got to drive a 1993 model. This one seems just as strong as the 1991's, goddamn it pulls really hard over 4000 rpm! And it sounds nice too, the exhaust is well balanced with the rest of the car, and the 6 throttle bodies no doubt contribute to the nice intake noise.

PROS : power, power, power, noise, the wonderful detail that only comes with a M car

CONS : mirrors are kinda small (this one has the sport mirrors like the new M3's)

It's a really good car, especially for the money (we only paid $19,500 for it, straight body, no accidents) I'll post some pix once i get them scanned.

=)
