I have a 99.5 QMS and am wondering what is the best dealer for service in the Westchester, Connecticut area. BTW, a4.org was very helpful when researching and buying! Love my car! Thanks for all the info.

There is nothing but complaints, whining and moaning when people relay their experiences there. I suggest avoiding it at all costs.

Pray sold all his stores several months ago to an outfit from upstate Ct, and I am told the new owners have a good record. I do not know when they take over, but they are not in yet. I have had my A4 into Pray many times and have had all good experiences. They always gave me a new A6 to drive and did not hassle me about my Mods. If you go to Greenwich come see me at Miller Motorcars, I sell Aston-Martins,Ferrari, and high end used, you might get a kick out of it!

I purchased two cars from them in the last year or so (my wife's car -- our babymobile -- is a Passat Variant) and so far I've been satisfied, although I haven't brought any difficult problems to them, yet (and hope that I won't have to ;o)

HTH.

I've been in Miller Motorcars more than once. I used to work in the area. The salesman there don't even let anyone go near the cars unless you're wearing a $1500 suit.

And regarding Pray? F them. Malcum Pray (owner) better lay off the booze. That's how everything started going downhill. His daughters are cute though.

they didn't even top off the fluids. When I questioned Joe Padula (Audi service manager) what the check up entails, he did not give me any definitive answers. So I asked him if the fluids are checked and he said yes, so I opened the hood of my car(still with them, 7 weeks so far)and showed him an empty washer fluid tank, and asked him to explain. Needless to say, he had no response. This is one of many #uck ups they have done to my Avant which I recall as being Aluminum Silver, I think. The moral of this story is-GO SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR SERVICE......

My mom's 1.8T blew its intercooler hose because the clamps rusted through (probably would have been noticed at the time the car was serviced 2 months earlier if Pray had any competent mechanics), and then sat in their shop for a week before they even looked at it. No loaner, wanted cash up front for a rental. This appears to be pretty standard for them from other posts I have read.
