Ground zero is about a block away from my work and about 4 blocks from my home. The Delta Center, where the Jazz play, has had all it's windows destroyed on the west side. A near by high-rise hotel met with the same fate. Across the street from both of these places is a large parking lot where two large tent were set up for an outdoor expo show, one tent completly destroyed and one almost untouched. I believe most of the injuries happened in the destroyed tent. A few blocks away a large crane was knocked over at a construction site.

Needless to say, it's a major mess around here right now.

Just got word that our building is being evacuated. I hope my home isn't being evacuated too. Check out the link for more details.
