I've got the changer and was trying to decide whether to mount it under the rear deck or buy the black box. I'll probably study this picture for days before finally making up my mind. GaryJ 08-11-1999, 05:41 PM Mounting boxes & wiring kits can be found at Clair parts. Aftermarket panasonic changes do work (but certain features do not; ie random play). I forget the model numbers, but check the archives and you can find them as well as a ton of other info. I did and love it. MarkG 08-12-1999, 04:24 AM The CD box doesn't get in the way at all. I believe there was a tool kit there before and you can just put the tools in the extra compartment of the CD box. It's back there by the wheel well which is normally dead space. The CD is also well protected. I just had to put a new bike in the back and a CD hanging from the top would have gotten in the way. I did have to cut the carpet though but I'll probably never remove the box. There is an excellent install guide in the FAQ section. I research things to death also. I think you'll win either way you go though. The factory box made for an easy install with the help of the FAQ which may be an issue if you are not so handy with these things (like me).
