I have read the success stories in the archives. It's hard to believe you can get the A4 for dealer invoice. How the heck does carorder make money?? I saw that someone had even ordered a 2000 A4 with carorder. The 2000 A4 isn't on their pull-down menu, so did they have to do it over the phone?

"Basically, we're not making any money right now." Aparently their parent company wants to get the name out and is going to be running it this way until the end of the year. So use them now if you want a good deal!
BTW, they told me that their dealer network is in California and Texas right now, but you can still order a car with them if you are from out of state, you just have to do it over the phone and not on the web. I live in Utah and they told me that they have taken a number of orders from Utah. I'm planning on ordering with them once they get the 2000 info and if I can work out a lease with the dealer even though I'm from out of state. I hope it all works out. :-)

Got a 99.5 A4 1.8tMQS below invoice, howver i think COrder adjusted this to normal invoice as of recent. Still, can't be beat. I feel very fortunate. I did have a few miscommunications and stubblings along the way, but problems were solved and carorder.com came through. They will honor their website price. I think it works best if you know who the Audi dealer is that they work with - that way you can check with their inventory, talk with the sales people, check out the car if it's on the lot, etc. Carorder makes up the difference to the dealer so that they can make a profit (3200.00) in my case. The dealer loves it, consumer loves it, Carorder.com doesn't mind I guess? They'll probably make money in the future somehow.
Bought my 1.8tQS through carorder.com. Can't beat their price. And they will honor whatever price pops up on the computer screen once you configured your car. It helps that the car you want is on the dealers lot that they work with for your particular area (i.e. University Audi - Seattle). They pay the dealer a check to make up the difference (profit for the dealer) while the consumer gets the car at the best possible deal. Feel fortunate to have been able to locate a 99.5 car of my liking and work through som minor glitches in communication with the dealer, carorder.com, and myself. It all worked out. Now it's my turn to drive!
