Great price from AWE Tuning (compared to the price for some S4/RS6/Porsche options).

Should I do just the fronts, with Mintex pads of course. I'll probably use G2 Caliper Paint and paint them black and airbrush the 4 rings or A6 logo's on them in white or silver......of course.

I read one archive on the search, looked good. Anyone think its worth the $130/set, $60/pads $50 paint for doing just the fronts,(I'll paint the rears while I'm at it. Whats labor on a front rotor swap job, aprox?

Always liked the cross drilled look and my calipers look like crap right now anyway. Perhaps I'll have them put on that PSK anti sway rear bar as well.

Will the Zimmerman hold for the long run? Winter and all? I don't like rusty rotors.

If for looks only, ok, but you're not going to see any major benefit over slots... and there are drawbacks like cracking between the holes. They are less expensive than slotted, though.

There isn't much surface area on your calipers to put rings or an A6 logo... it would look pretty stupid, IMO. I would just paint them black and leave it at that.

Labor on front pads/rotors on the front is about 2 hours, with a fluid flush, which I do with every brake change (lines up @ 2 years anyway).

It is worth the price, since stock equipment will set you back about the same amount.

Audi dealers may not install them for you, but you can call and check, it only takes an hour to do the fronts, rears are a little longer since you have to screw the piston back in and then readjust the handbrake when done. If you havne't lately get your brake fluid changed (2 year rule) I'd do that too, it collects water and it is just as easy now since the tires will be off.
