Finally got the headlight out of my 99 A6 and i cant seem to get to the amber lens, the cover over the entire light is sealed and does not want to come off at all, any other way to get at the lens or is this it???

to remove that cover, you need a heat gun to loosen up the silicone.

if you dont have access to that, you can try heating it up in your oven. its kinda risky though.
