I had the continental (crap) tires and they squealed all the way around Roebling Rd....everyone kept telling me they thought someone was spinning every time i was going through a turn!!

Soon after that event, i upgraded to Bridgestone Potenza RE71's (stock size) and they are great tires for the money (about 100 each)...they handle great but they wear pretty fast....

2 days on track did some damage to the stock tires.....once they got hot, they started getting gooey (slippery) not a good feeling in the middle of a turn on track!!

The stock tires still had a lot of life left in them but i simply had to have better tires...then i simply had to have a better suspension (H&R coilovers) :-)

So, I say go for the new tires.....those stock ones could last a long time, and how long do you want to be unhappy with your tires?!?!
