They want $470 for new front rotors and pads?? Is that a good price....go aftermarket? Then they said I need a new outside temperature sensor because the one I had was saying wierd ****...$195. And the headlight washer pump (which was never working even when i Bought the car) to put a new one in is $ 165....all prices include labor. What should I do?

You can get new pads and rotors cheaper than that.
You can buy the temp sensor from Clairparts and replace it yourself.
And if the washer pump never worked, don't bother fixing it now.
Same with everything else really...

rotors from germanautoparts.com
front stock - $42
front zimmerman - $69
rear stock - $32
rear zimmerman - $59
(zimmermans are x-drilled,price is per rotor similar prices for other aftermarket rotors, AWE has zimmerman pairs for $130 front and $120 rear)
Price from AWE-Tuning:
Mintex Redbox pads front - 57 w/o sensor, $70 with
Mintex Redbox pads rear - 37
EBC Green pads similar prices
~$240 for stock rotors and mintex pads. ~$380 for zimmermans and mintex pads
So on the stock stuff (stock pads are gonna be similar to Mintex cost), you see the ass raping they are giving you.

Look for a good High performace or custom shop. or look in the yellow pages for a local mechanic who is Bosch authroried.
As for me I'd go after market and do the work myself or as I have done in the past trade for labor. I had a friend of mine replace my battery, alterator and washer pump in exchange I built up a custome PC for him.
the only down side to the outside temp probe not working is that you'll have to manually adjust the heat and air in the car. No big deal and if you ask me the headlight washer is kinda dumb, but not as dumb as the headlight wipers that Mercades-benz had!

I would not attempt a brake job yourself. If you want to go aftermarket, thats fine, just order the parts and have a tuning shop do it.
