A rare 2002 RS4 from Mexico. Apparently owner knows Audi of Mexico's Pres and got an RS4. Owner is coming through San Anotnio on his way to the Quattro Challenge up in Dallas. He stopped off for his 1st scheduled maintenance.
Pretty cool car...

So close, but yet so very far away. Oh my DOT, Ohh my EPA, ohh my oh why can't we? DC_//A6, with a car like that you can park it anywhere you want. No one is going to even think about touching it. I would however ask that question regarding NJ, Boston, or DC. That guy must be rolling in the dough and lets hope its not in that suitcase. Well, unless you were able to snatch it. He even picked the most unique color, Silver. That is the sleeper Avant I want.

I Salute President Fox!!!! May I be his friend now? Seriously, that is very nice. Great pics and very good quality. There is a sig pic in there somewhere.

Are the suspension pieces actually of a different geometry than the S4?? I would be nice to lighten the front with those aluminum pieces...

Supposedly (I used to be able to find a web page about the lawsuits in progress) the suspension on the RS4 is too weak and breaks. To counter this, Audi put super-soft rims on the car, thus you bend a rim instead of breaking a suspension arm.

Stay away from the RS4 suspension. It is bad news.

For some reason they always seem to be covered in drool when I see them there. Can't think why? ;-)

Yes they certainly did have some issues with the suspension 'NOT' being able to endure daily use over all kinds of road surfaces. Then they had the wheel problem. Then they shut the program down to rethink.

I'll take the next gen RS4. Hopefully.
