Okay, it's an hour past quitting time when I get down to the basement garage last night. A co-worker just a bit ahead of me is walking to his black Jaguar S 4.0 (w/RS4-ish wheels...pretty nice). He fusses with something on the windshield, and I say, "Everything okay?" He comes over and begins "going to confession." Says this is actually his second S, identical to the first which he (with legal help) had gotten Jaguar to buy back under Lemon condiitons. Long story, he said, but added he'd probably made a mistake in buying the same car twice. "Next time?" he finished, "I'm getting THAT!" (Pointing to my freshly washed damned good looking Nemo four-deuce.)

That felt pretty good...but wait, there's more!

At about that time, another co-worker (female, this time) enters the garage and heads for her brand-new-this-month Lexus 300 (or whatever the number of their Camry one is). She can tell we're talking about cars, and without hearing the substance of the conversation, volunteers to me, "I was looking at your car yesterday. THAT'S what I SHOULD have gotten!"

Damn, I felt like I was in a commercial! Especially when I looked them individually in the eye and said, "Remember...Never follow!

Hey...It's 70 degrees+ and sunny here today. Spring has sprung and I'm drivin' the car everybody wants!!! Life is good.

.. Tons of room, beautiful interior trim, massive trunk space, rocket acceleration and all-weather capability. All at a very fair price.

I was up in Evanston this past weekend and a middle aged man who was standing on the sidewalk with some friends said, out of the blue, "that's a beautiful car!" (I had just parked it -- also helped that I had just had it washed earlier that day) He asked me a bit about it and I told him that I absolutely love it (didn't drop the "Never Follow" line, though ;-).

It was kind of weird, definitely felt like being in a car ad.

I've had my allroad for about seven months now and I still can't help smiling every time I drive the thing. It is such a kick to drive with those two little turbos doing their thing!

each time I wash it in the weekend, that mean oftent. Nor the '01 540 or the S-Type (both silver) does not attract poeples like mine does, mabe 'cause she is ming blue...
Short storie: My son get out last friday with my car to go to his friend's house to a party and gues who first wanted to have a ride in it, his friend's mother took a ride in my car with my son 'cause she said: "We don't have the chance to ride in a beautiful car like an Audi A6 each day!" I found that pretty funny, evreyone I know is crazy about my dark beauty, my A6.
