Just wondering if anybody has any experience with this. I have heard of people doing this on many expensive cars such as 7 series, various MB models, etc.

My credit is immaculate, but I don't know if I can expect the "good" interest rates with a balloon. I heard a rumor about balloons requiring a ridiculous rate like 10.5%, I am used to getting financing at 7.5% or lower.

Anyway, I would welcome any opinions on this financing system and especially what rates people have gotten.

I did a premier purchase plan last November at 8.9%. Rates vary so I'm sure they're higher now. The plan seemed right to me, benefits of ownership with the minimal upfront cost of a lease. I'm sure they'll try to screw me with damage charges in the end though - may sell outright long before the term ( 3 yrs) is up.
