I'm thinking it is about time to let go of my '00 2.7T with 23k miles. Looking out there, I don't really see any other cars with all the features I would like - power, manual transmission, space, 4-wheel drive, etc.
I'm thinking a new 2.7T may be a good idea. Is Audi good to work with on trade-ins when you buy/lease another car from them? I wish I could get that $499/m special, and just trade up even. Anyone have any experience on that?
Thanks

I have not seen any advertised, but that doesn't mean there aren't any. I got my 2.8 last summer, the same time Audi was running the $499/month with $1,499 down lease special on the 2.7t. My dealer told me that lease special and the $399/month with $1,399 down on the 2.8 really helped dealers move units off their lot. Here in NJ, many dealers were sold out of 2.8s and later 2.7s. I thought Audi would advertise some lease specials in December and January when sales typically drop just before and after the holidays. Audi may still run a lease special for the second half of January and February.

Just caught the tail end of the radio ad.
LA Times last(?) weekend had a couple for $599/mo with approx $3500 up front. 48 mos and 12k/yr. Dunno what the residual was, but these cars were stripped 2.7T's - no options at all.

plus I negotiated my deal without having to give them the $1,000 for the cap cost reduction. Yippee!!
