Why would people scratch an area like that? I have instructed the wife on exactly where any loose items are allowed to be stowed. That is definetely not one of the approved areas. no.radar 12-07-2001, 10:24 AM Singletrack 12-07-2001, 10:29 AM individually also. Not a real smart idea to have that very easily scratchable metal right there (or anywhere). The brushed aluminum around the vents would've been a much better choice, dark or light colored, either way...shiny stuff...not so good and sometimes the damn sunlight reflects off it into my eyes! autlaw 12-07-2001, 11:03 AM gang, I brushed mine with 300 grit sandpaper, it wasn't that hard to do, I've posted pictures in my gallery, click on my id number and take a look FlyBry2.7T 12-07-2001, 11:42 AM Stoney 12-07-2001, 12:17 PM 2.7tDallas 12-07-2001, 12:30 PM how to do it! ;-) HotSprings2.7T 12-07-2001, 01:16 PM I was just trying to get some of the stuff out of the cracks surrounding it - the price you pay for being anal (damn - it's difficult to look at that word and know that you typed it). Anyway, if it gets too bad I may try the "brushed look" (meaning fully scratched). FlyBry2.7T 12-07-2001, 02:14 PM mess with the Audi, Mustangs, truck, Harleys, or Street Rods! Oh, and she is off limits to the home theater system and my scotch!!!!!!!! Singletrack 12-07-2001, 02:23 PM wanted and he found it. I was surprised how easy it was, in fact I think it's a new parts guy. -st 2.7tDallas 12-07-2001, 09:04 PM Or you found one of the 6 six low maintainence women in Dallas |
