Has anyone out there had there 1.8T go into "limp mode" and do you know why this happens?

Does the dealer set this back to the "factory" boost when the computer is reset?

boost is set by (Wett) chip in ECU. Car will adjust this to 5lbs or so in Limp mode. Dealer will reset to ECU specifications...(your Wett chip's boost).

My car is back to 150 slow HP. Painful. Wetteraur is sending me another chip. Thankfully, they have been very helpful.
