I'm going to be in Vienna on business at the end of this month for business, and I wouldn't mind shooting over to Ingolstadt for a day or so if feasible. Anyone familiar with the distance between the cities (yahoo maps don't show that much), and how easy/hard it would be to travel between?

Between Vienna, Austria and Ingolstadt, Germany there's about 750km or so, so I would assume it's a few hours drive away. It's all highway from the maps I looked at so it should be relatively quick.

Make sure you let us know how the trip goes...

I´ve tried two Online-RoutePlaners and they both say around 505km and 4:50h to 5:15h
for a fast driver.

Happy drivin´ in Germany ! And if there are speed limits, obey them (at least stay within 20km/h on the autobahn, with 30-50DM it is not very expensive).
