Getting very close to purchase of allroad. Any input + or - on sales and service would be appreciated. Heard some good things about Prestige in Denver from local A6 & A4 owners. Nothing on others. Thank you.

Schneider 02-09-2001, 06:35 PM Hey Skitown, We have had service experience with both of the Denver metro Audi dealers; McDonald & Prestige. Prestige is the oldest and has a depth of experienced with the Audi product line. We've also bought Audi S cars from both dealerships. Both of these retailers tack on an additional $299.00 profit in the disguise of "prep., handling and some ****", this is nonsense!! Insist that this line item be deducted from your invoice. WE DID. As the service area of these retailers goes, both are "OK" with the edge, IMO going to Prestige. Prestige is also the area Porsche dealer and works on our 993 as well. At McDonald Audi, the GM is Mike McDonald - he would be selling newspapers on the street corner if it were not for the family buying into the business. Now thats my opinion of Mike McDonald after having discussed business with him specifically - however you'll want to form you own opinion. Tim Dyke in service at McDonald Audi is outstanding, he has faithfully serviced our S6 wagon. He's a professional. A salesman to contact at Prestige is Ken Kanasu, he sold us our '00 S4tt while working at McDonald - he is now employed at Prestige. Ken is a Audi World peer and owns a '00 S4tt. Straight forward, no nonsense, we're the business practices I enjoyed most when dealing with Ken. All the standard disclaimers apply - Just my .o2 Mike Schneider Vail, Colorado Skitown 02-09-2001, 10:11 PM s4wood 02-10-2001, 11:21 AM I have known him for about 4 years.
