Only my opinion, but audi needs a new wheel guy. Great looking cars, but awful fact wheels throughout the line.

I agree with you on that. I can't find aftermarket wheels that I like better than the stockers, that's why I still have them.

...out in the Hamptons on weekends. Used to work in Secaucus, NJ (years ago) and really enjoyed driving to work every day---Miss it alot.

IMHO, they look better than the Sport or the Base 2.8 wheels, and are much easier to keep clean as well.

I do almost all of my driving in NJ. I've got a top-notch detailer that you may be interested in, he's in Port Wash. Works on true exotics, my 2.7 was the lowliest car in the shop.
I'll be moving to Jersey soon. We should try a weekend mini-meet in the area, now that the weather should be warming some.

A little optimistic on the warm weather? I hear it's gonna snow tomorrow, yet again. Thanks for the detailer tip, but I really like to do it myself. I figure the 3-step Mothers process will either help keep this almost 50-year old body in shape, or it'll kill me---Probably worse ways to go! Anyhow, we should try to get together, since I actually work not far from you (UN area). Maybe a beer after work sometime.

I'm not a big drinker, but I could use a few beers right now.
I used to think that detailers were a waste of time, then I brought my car to one. I wash/wax my car by hand all the time, but they just made it look so beautiful that it wasn't a comparison. I was sold. I'll take it to them 2x's a year. At $100 per, I think it's worth it.
