Saturday I took a drive up to Valenti Audi in Watertown, CT and purchased my new A4. Well, I ordered it, at least. Here's the details:

2000 A4 1.8T Quattro
Lt Silver Metallic / Onyx Cloth
Conv. Pkg (sunroof, homelink remote, auto dimming mirrors)
Sport Pkg
Cold Weather Pkg
Sport Seats
Xenon Lights
SIDEGUARD Curtain Airbag

I had not-so-thrilling experiences/reviews at Danbury (CT) Audi and Mohegan Lake (NY) Audi. My salesman at Valenti Audi, Mark Natter, was very easy to do business with and thus received my business. I will have some sort of log appearing on my new web-page soon, so I will wait until then for all of the details. Bottom line, $1200 over invoice and a 3-month wait.

Mark just called me and he switched the options on a car that is part of their allocation set for procuction. I have the 6-digit reference # and my name is now associated with that car. !!!

Do you have confirmed pricing for the Convenience Package and Xenon lights? Does the 2000 come with the trip computer by default? I'm gonna buy a 2000 2.8 with almost the same options.

Conv pkg on '99 A6 is $1320 invoice (same contents, but also includes memory for the power seat and outside mirrors)

Conv pkg on '98 A4 was $1035 invoice (sunroof and remote locking pkg which is now standard)

Sunroof on '99.5 A4 is $880 invoice

So my guess is between $1000-1320, probably bet $1100-1200 (invoice)

For the Xenon's:

Safety Pkg on '99 A6 is $836 invoice (Xenon and rear airbags)

Xenon's alone gotta be less than that, right?
Say $500 invoice

I assume SIDEGUARD will be $500-600

I'm looking at ordering a 2000 2.8Q, too.
How much information did the dealer have for the 2000 model (i.e. pictures of new 10-spoke wheels, any changes in interior trim, etc.)?

Thanks,
dB
