I need to order pads for my 99.5 1.8TQMS. Clair Parts Express says the Rofren Pads will not work on the 99.5 model.

My main objectives are to reduce brake dust and squeel. I also can't seem to find Mintex pads.

Any suggestions besides Mintex and Rofren?

rich, why not give andrew @ camra motorsports a call. i ordered and received the mintex red box shoes. andrew's number is 914-428-5157. there are two kinds of pads. one set has the wear sensor wires on them (the sensor receptacles do not match up with the audi receptacles). the set i received had no sensor wires attached at all. you can loop the wires together, so the warning light does not activate. lastly, look through the archives under mintex or camra motorsports. there's alot of useful information in there. i'll be picking up my 99.5 this friday and the dealership has agreed to install the pads for me. andrew has some reliable places for installing the pads. i can't remember which area you're from. al......
