Well, it really irks me that the curve published in the S4 brochure is so uninformative/misplotted. It shows the drop-off in torque from 3600 to the redline as a straight line. If this were the case and the engine really makes 250HP at 5800, then the engine would keep making even more HP after its stated peak of 250 at 5800 all the way to the redline. I figured 275 at 6800. And I highly doubt the HP would "peak" like it does in the curve. It would probably be over 240HP from between 5500 and 6400 RPMs. Just griping and wanting accurate info (I'm already trying to plot shift points based on my guesses as to the exact dynamics of the torque curve--so far I've got the following: 1-2 at 6800; 2-3 at 6800; 3-4 at 6600; 4-5 at 6400; and 5-6 at 6300 (I can't wait to make that last shift)).

The problem is all that stuff is probably done by marketing types who know how to use a web editor, photoshop, illustrator and drive Tercells to work... and know nothing about the car itself.

Dealer called me Friday... ETA 12 weeks. 'course Audi week = 1.4 standard weeks
