First off, I am a little prejudice since I have an A6 4.2 on order for delivery this month.

I arrived at the dealer about 10 minutes after the truck had dropped it off. The shop guys were all over it. They said it reminded them of a benz E500 or something like that (I am not familiar with that). The 17" wheels and tires were awesome. Now I know why the additional wheel flair gets so much attention. It looks much better in person. It looks very compact and not as lenghthy as the others. The car was silver with onyx interior.

The engine really fills up the compartment all the way to the front with the cooling coils and fan assembly.

Came back at 5 PM to take its first client test drive with 8 miles on it. This thing is fast. The power is solid, effortless and never ending. The handling is just unbelievably good for a car that weighs 4,000 lbs. What a rush. Seems much faster off the line than the 99 A8. So much different the 2.8. I found myself having to use the brakes alot in traffic because it is so fast and smooth I was getting a little carried away.

The only bad thing is I had to give back the keys and wait a couple more weeks for mine to come in.

I know this is rude, but what did you pay for the car and what options.
