I don't kow what conclusion we all came to about this, but everywhere I look now says the 4.2 does in fact have a sport package available as an option.

It's on Audi's website (link below), as well as on the KBB site.

PSQ A6 4.2 Sport Package:
* Sport Front Seats
* 17 inch Forged Sport Alloy Wheels
* 17 inch Performance Tires
INV: $1320 - MSRP: $1500

Are Audi and KBB publishing this information in error? If not, anyone have any info on the sport wheels? From the descriptions, it seems as though they are different from the polished 17" wheels.

The information that my dealer has given me is that the polished 8 spoke wheels with the 17* 255/40 tires as an option separately are the same as the ones in the sports package.

He says he has or will be ordering it on most of the 4.2s. Says wheels are the same as separate option.
