I've checked the archive. My 99.5 1.8TQTipS has coolant leak and my car is just 3700km now (as I'm in Canada). I'll call the Audi service dealer and schedule an appointment coming this week.
But I want to know if it'll be the same known problem to those 2.8 30V??? The coolant level is below the "MIN" marker around an inch. But the light isn't on yet. So I pretend that it's still safe, right???
