1999 A6 Wagon: Everone says I'm crazy, but I get a very bad windtunnel & buffeting effect when I have the sun roof fully open and all windows closed. I do know why theis technically happens (all that science crap) but I just had a Volvo v70 and it did not do it also I've driven wagons from mercedes, saab, even hondas and saturns.Audi gods tell me to close it 4 inches or open a window a bit (yea I know that), but the fact that these other cars have resolved this effect shows that I'm not crazy. San Francisco is cool enough (not hot) that I like to drive with just the roof open at times.

Mine does it too. Haven't found another solution other than those you mentioned. If you hear of one, let us know.

Mine does it as well. I hear ya on the cool weather implications. Once again, Audi seems to forget they are in a "no excuses" price range. This model has been out for long enough that this kind of issue should be resolved. Only the Germans (and not all of them at that) would spend zillions to develope a new model, and then not attend to the details that one can't help but notice when one drives it everyday.

We have a factory in Germany, and we've had a long and dreary time teaching the people that work for us there how to spell CUSTOMER. VW/Audi seems to have similar problems. Too bad, they are nice cars.
