Earlier today, I was walking from the back of my building to the parking lot... I saw what I first thought was an A6 4.2... only reason I thought that was because the wheels looked something like the wheels on the original A6 4.2 photos (VW Vortex) from the angle I was at. I easily dismissed that because I knew there was no chance there would be a 4.2 on the road yet, as much as I wanted to report back in here with that fairy tale.

But still, there it sat, a beautiful '99 A6 black on black, shined up and all. The sun was shining high, and made that car look perfect.

I went in for my camera, and when I came back it was gone, and the spot was taken by a older Chevy caviler with significant rust and replaced body panels. Made me sick.

Was I...

1) Stupid to not make a mad dash for the camera as soon as I saw it?

Or 2) Day dreaming (keeping in mind my now permanent A6 4.2 eye filter), and all that was ever there was the Chevy??
