I don't have the manual in front of me, but I believe the oil capacity is somewhere around 4.5+ quartz. I generally get about 4.25 quartz in when I do an oil change (turn the engine over once or twice with the plug out to get another 0.25 q). Seems that 3.3 quartz would leave you with partially rejuvenated oil (also see others comments on the importance of changing the filter). That being said, looks very easy- perfect for removing overfill. By the way, how often are you changing your oil? (consider switching to synthetic).

...3.2 quarts if you do not change the oil filter, 3.7 quarts with an oil filter change. This is according to the TSB that Audi issued to correct the owner's manual which is incorrect.
