Hi, I've been looking around at alot of cars and I've finnally decided on the A4. But I have a few questions that arose in my mind while surfing this amazing site, and I was hoping someone in here could help me. <p>Q1. The page says that there will be a few changes to the A4 in February 1999. Is this for the german market, or for the United States as well? <p>Q2. If so, are the updated A4s going into production in February, or will they be on the lots in February? (im looking to make my pruchase in the next week or two, but if this changes are coming, I guess I owuld have to wait :)<p>Q3. Does anyone know if there is a waiting list on the A4, the 1.8T to be specific. (please say no.:)<p>Thanks guys, mucho appreciated!<p>Mark.

1.) Changes will appear in American models (although that AoA response was pretty weird.)<p>2.)There has been conflicting info on when they will appear. Some sources say they will arrive in early Feb. Others say they will begin production in early Feb...<p>3.)Certain 1.8t are impossible to find (silver, black, sport package, quattro, etc.) However, if you are not to picky some great dals are available on 99 and 98 models. Any 1.8 ordered will come as a the updated 99.5 although specific pricing has not been released. I really want that setup, and am pretty unwilling to compromise (except in color, maybee).<p>So If i put in the order tommorow, I'd get a revised version, but does anyone know when I'd get it?<p>Thanks.<p>Mark

I don't know where you are located but a friend of mine was able to find a suitable car (silver quattro, all-weather, sunroof, tip - he wanted the Bose but had to settle for a dealer installed cd-changer on stock system) by calling around to a few local dealers in the region (NY/NJ). He found his car on Monday and drove it home last night. $800 over invoice.<p>Good luck,<br>Chris
