Price is $1,299 + the usual charges (tax, s&h...etc.)
$390 required now as deposit... $909 due at deliver.
There is also a note on the order form: "For off-road use only." Hmmm....
also...
"There is the possibility that A4 headlight kits may come with many of the components to use the European automatic self-leveling mechanism; however there is no way of guaranteeing access to this device even if the headlights are so equipped."
Hope this is useful for those who are interested, but didn't get on their list.
Cris

The Litronic retrofit was originally off-road only until enough 911 owners bought kits for Porsche to realize it was time to factory-authorize a retrofit. While that may not happen with A4's, most lights marketed as upgrades are off-road only, including many PIAA driving lights, many "Euro" headlights, and other light sources.
So, in answer to your question, I wouldn't think of hesitating for a second.
Cameron
The e-mail I got was from Lltek... they had a "no-obligation" sign-up on their website a few weeks back.
Anyway, I've put up their attached order form for those who are interested (can I do that?) at the link below.
Cris

Xenon info/order form

It certainly wouldn't stop me neither, but justifying the cost (at this time) is kinda tough for me. :(
Cris
The way I understand it this is a one shot deal exclusive to LLtek. I don't think we'll ever get to buy real S4 lamps again here in N. Amer. I have no idea how much it would cost to improt some from Germany, but who cares. I'm sure it would be more than $1299. "Off-road use". Whatever! They're legal in the motherland so they're good enough for me.

As posted below I ordered as well. My question is, are these the actual lamps from Audi, or some aftermarket brand? If from Audi, are they made by Bosch?

I was only at LLtek last Monday.
I asked steve what brand they are. He said they are OEM Hella. I don't think there is such thing as an aftermarket Xenon lamp for the A4.

No, they do not have the fog lights. I plan on later ordering the fog light kit from LLtek, which looks identical to the new fogs on the '99 or 2000 model A4's.

Here's a couple of things to consider...
1) The euro lamps improve the dispersion pattern, but it's my understanding that they don't do much for improving the actual amount of light emitted...
2) I have the feeling that HIDs are the direction headlight technology is headed...this is our chance to add this technology to the fabulous car that is the A4...
3) This may be one of the only chances we'll get to get our hands on an HID unit that is actually OEM (made by Hella)...the fact that this unit is used by the S4 proves that this unit is truly meant for this car
4) Aftermarket units (such as the one made by Bellof) aren't designed for the A4...on top of that, they cost MORE than the Hella unit sold by LLTek...
5) BMW and M-B units run more than $2400...at $1300 these units are a steal...
Just my $.02...
