I know, I haven't gotten my A4 1.8T yet but thinking about upgrades - instead of a 1 bar chip I've thought about going the K04 upgrade and getting some serious horses.

Questions:
What does it really cost? $1600?

Is it a DIY install for someone who has done a fair amount of DIY stuff?

What are the real dyno numbers (hp/torque) and boost pressure?

Is it reliable? I know we're talking a more power upgrade, so it's all probably speculation anyway. Would it be better than a stock turbo running at 14psi?
