Ever notice how the A4 isn't plagued by the same mildew smelling AC system many others get? I think a large part of it comes from the use of an air filtration "system". Of course, any car in constant RECIRC mode will eventually have problems. Many Asian cars have this problem since the heat exchangers have extremely high fin density and never allow the system to dry. For those who have the problem, using "Febreeze" will stop it. Just run the car in FRESH air VENT with maximum fan speed and spray the stuff into the fresh air pickup. Anyhow, yet another reason to be happy with my A4.
