My seat was squeeking and driving me insane but my dealer fixed it by lubricating. It hasn't made a sound in > 10K miles.

Mine squeeked shortly after purchase, but a little bit of white lithium grease quelled the noise permanently. I'm not particularly heavy (~170 lbs) and the noise manifested itself when depressing any pedal-- including the dead pedal. So this was a dead give away for the noise source. Prior to lubricating, try incrementally lowering the seat and move it fore or aft just a tiny bit. You may find the noise is gone and you've lost the ability to replicate it.

Sounds like your A4 was built the day after Octoberfest!

I think I would go off the chart now...when I use to run alot (before knee injury) I
got fat weighed...with the dunking method...I was pretty good...at 170 lbs...Now?

I got stuck in the hydrostatic weighing tank about 3 months ago and came in at 11% body fat. The last 5 days though, I've gone on a special diet. Lost 10 pounds in the first 4 days. Supposed to lose 10-17 in 7 days. ALL you can eat diet :)
