what i'm looking for:
ride quality somewhere between that of a 97 328 factory sport bimmer and my current 1.8tqm sport suspension. the ride on my friends 328 is WAY to bumpy and my 1.8tqms is too soft. i'm looking for a happy medium and about another inch lower in addition to the factory sport suspension.
i'm still on the factory 16" 205/55 dunlops but as winter rolls closer i'll change them out for some snow tires. i still havent decided on 17" or 18" summer wheels yet .. bleh.
any suggestions, opinions?
tia
-jasyn
99.5 1.8tqms apr 1bar

Here is a post that may help you out.
This post was made by Cathleen on 5/5 and here is part of the post:
"I am switching to Delrin Control Arm Bushings that Vortrag sells ASAP. Yes, there is some level of ride stiffness accompanied by this. The urethane is cushy and softens the blows of bad pavement but in turn the urethane weakens and fails. With the Delrins, the ride is harsher but the benefits are a much tighter steering feel, better turn-in control and they LAST and LAST. I've driven a car with them and the bumps are definitely more noticeable but dang could this car hit a turn in! So, to make the point, if you can handle a stiffer ride and want better feel, turn-in and a product that will last, that's the way to go."
The entire post is found at:
http://www.a4.org/bbs/a4/9922/messages/2024.shtml
Mitch 99.5 1.8tqms

Seriously, the pressure in your tires will make quite a difference. Play with different settings. The best part is that most you will spend is 50 cents.
Tomasz
