Holiday greetings to everyone!<p>Some background info: car is a 98.5 A4 quattro sport 5spd, almost a year old, has about 8,000 miles, rarely driven aggressively. I love almost everything about my A4 but...<br>Lately I've been noticing some strange noises when I shift gears. It has me a little concerned. The first type of noise is a noticeable "clicking" after I shift gears and I am releasing the clutch. Also, sometimes it sounds like its occuring as I move the gearshift into another gear. I can't tell whether it's occurrrence is directly related to movement of clutch, gearshift, or both. Also, when I am in reverse there is a kind of a "groaning" noise at low revs.<p>Does a quattro require special shifting techniques? I hope I didn't damage my tranny in some way because of incorrect technique or something....<p>Thanks in advance for your responses.<p>Paul C
