Twice in the last 5 days, my 96 A4QM has failed to start (never happened before). The engine turns over strong, but doesn't even threaten to catch. Both times the problem has gone away within 24 hours before it could be determined whether it was a spark or fuel problem. Both times the Check Engine light has come on. The first time, I had the dealer look for the error codes. There were three, but the dealer said they were inconclusive. Now my Check Engine light is on again, and I'm trying to figure out how to proceed. A different dealer, maybe? It started this morning, but seems likely that it will fail again soon.<p>Any ideas or advice? Naturally, I just went off warranty two months ago.<p>richard b.
