Some of you may find these questions annoying, so I'll apologize in advance. Sorry. I'm currently a second year BBA student in Ontario Canada, and I've done so much research on the A4 over the internet, I make my family sick any time I mention it. My primary criteria for deciding which cars to look at was all wheel drive (or 4WD), because I learned to drive in an SUV, and I can't imagine trying to tackle a northern winter without it. After reading about the differences between 4WD and AWD, I decided on AWD. So this narrows the field considerably. The only candidates that remain are a bunch of Subarus and the A4. Chances are, I would pick either the Outback Sport or the A4, but I would prefer the A4 for a variety of personal reasons. Anyway, I've decided that if I have the means to do so when I graduate, I will buy either a Santorin Blue or Hibiscus Red A4 1.8T QMS with the trip computer (MSRP $26440 US according to AoA website).
My questions are what would a comparably equipped A4 cost in Canada, and what level of annual income would be necessary to "comfortably" afford the payments (either 48 month lease or purchase)?
Thanks in advance,
Scott.
