After spending many hours reading this website and running to my car, I finally found the wires. I must first say that the information in this forum is extremely misleading. I started looking for the wired by removing the removable trunk mat and the tools in the tool storage on the left side of the trunk. I got the impression that the wires would be somewheres there from the forum, but after many attempts, I gave up. THE CORRECT WAY TO FIND THE WIRES is to first remove the two round fasteners next to the trunk opening. That let the side carpeting loose. Next, carefully bend back the carpeting, enough to slip your hand through. Their are several wires down there so be carefull. Look, or should I say feel, for a loose wire wrapped with foam. Gently pull it out and youre done.
