Hi,<p>Got my APR 1.0 bar today, and will install tomorrow. I have a few quick questions...<p>1) In the instructions it says to disconnect the battery's ground cable - is this necessary? Have other people done this, or can I just ignore this part with little risk?<p>2) Is the battery ground cable the negative one? (The one on the left that isn't covered by a plastic tab.)<p>3) Took a look at the ECU today, and that 5th screw in the back looks like a pain to get in/out. Maybe I could loosen the black plastic that the wiper is attached to?<p>Thanks for helping me out with my ignorance! :)<p>MCT<br>

1) & 2): no need to disconnect battery... was in there just to cover their butt.<br>3): this is how you get to the 5th hex bolt... either have an angled wrench with<br> an extension, or, you loosen the black plastic fairing under the wipers. you do<br> that by first giving the black plastic screws a quarter to half-turn each, and then<br> you pull off the little metal tabs inside the engine compartment holding the<br> fairing down. you can then pull up the entire fairing a little, and squeeze a<br> wrench into the space. just put em back after you're done.<p>Francis<br>'98.5 Cactus Green 1.8TQTipS/APR
