Sorry to see and hear about your car. I pulled into Steve's Detailing this morning and saw your 2.8. He said it was in some paint overspray. You couldn't tell from far away, but when you felt the paint it felt like sandpaper. Wade had tried the clay, but it didn't even phase it. So he was basically "sanding" the paint off with a buffer and some medium to heavy cut solution. He had just gotten the hood done. Smooth as glass! Good luck!
