Feel your pain. I've got a 98.5 and someone just stole my driver side plastic cover and light assembly. They very efficiently pried the cover off without damaging car, then just cut the wires.<p>Haven't fixed it yet, but did buy replacement parts at the dealer. The plastic lens cover and light assembly (included a bulb) was under $25.

Why the big demand for the side markers? Are other VW/Audi owners ripping them off or do they have other uses in other auto makes? Are these the new equivalents to hood ornament theft?
